What can be the reason that online dating is bad for long-term relationships but good for shorter ones?

I didn't want to use anymore. I took a break from it. Starting using the one now. I noticed that there has been an increase in some guys interested in short-term relationships and hookup. It did only happen sometimes on mainstream dating sites/dating apps. I see some of the increase had to be from disabled dating sites and free sites. I did have guys that were interested in sex or about sexting to. There has been guys twice the age of me asking about sex but I'm blocked and report them One user said you meetup in my friends house and I did reject him and blocked him. I did report. My thoughts are some dating sites/ apps are no good. some reason why do some men just blunt out sex or ask if i'm open to having sex with strangers. I'm not open to having sex with strangers. Free dating sites are not it and not very good men on free dating sites. I met a lot of guys at adult gaming and it's been great. To get to play video games. I be talking to one guy with glasses that I might end up being attracted to. i'm been doing better but I'm not sure how to tell if some guys will be interested in me or attracted to me. I'm not sure if that counts. One guy with glasses did look at me then look away quickly but it could mean anything. I did get up early one time and did say good morning think I did say bye after or see ya. I can't remember. I have been practicing more , my mum has still had rules about when it comes to me dating men with moderate learning disabilities. I did have some previous bad experience with previous ex boyfriend someand some we were from college and one previous ex boyfriend was met on facebook. I got 9 ex boyfriend. I do not talk about ex boyfriend. not yet gotten any dates for going to social events or some from online dating.
