Why would he uninvite me to 1 party and invite me to another?

So this guy and I have been talking for a month. Recently we got into it and it's sort of give him the ick for me. Somehow though he still wants to try. So until yesterday I was invited to one of his close friend's party. Then we got into an argument and now I have been uninvited. But he's still inviting me to this OTHER friends party. This friend is someone he has met through his side tutoring gig. Oh and this is also after he mentioned he didn't want to go to her party at all yesterday. Why would he uninvite me to one and keep the other one?

We didn't end up going to either. He mentioned going to his other friends and well I mean we did spend the rest of the day together but he didn't even mention until late at night, "like oh yeah we're not going."

I don't know, one month is pretty soon in for big arguments not to be a dealbreaker. This is the time to use your best judgment before your feelings get all caught up and cloud it.

Who knows? He might have been pressured by others to uninvite you or felt uncomfortable with the guest list.

If the conflict was about something related to the first party, he probably invited you to avoid more conflict. If not, then your guess is as good as anyone's.
