She seems to lack attention and thus agrees to cooking for him, while all he does is being absent and now and then providing study notes for college stuff. She seems to consider herself lucky for now, but she's someone with a bunch of past relationships so far.

That's a tough situation man. On one hand, it's not really our place to interfere in how other people choose to navigate their relationships. But at the same time, I don't like the dude taking advantage of her just because she wants some attention.
If it was me, I'd maybe pull her aside casually and be like "hey, not trying to step on toes here but just looking out - you sure this guy is really treating you right? Seems like you're putting in all the work while he's kind of chilling."
Keep it chill so she doesn't feel attacked. But plant a little seed of her thinking about if it's really a balanced situation. And let her know you or the boys are always around if she needs someone in her corner. Girls tend to put up with more lame shit just because they don't want to be alone, so she might not even see it yet.
Other than that, can't force her to do anything. But at least saying something shows you care about how she's being treated too, not just minding your own biz. Gotta look out for your people ya know? That's my two cents at least.
I wouldn't.
Move on.
