😆😆😆 unfortunately it doesn't work that way. If giving birth to a child made all women mature we'd have outlawed abortion long ago.

The reality is closer to the opposite. Generally the women who have illegitimate kids are very immature. Which is why they're single moms in the first place.

Their single mothers because the dad left. I don't think that is a reflection of the moms character. If a single mother is handling all her responsibilities by herself it says a lot about her maturity

Why did the dad leave? Because he was NEVER father material to begin with. Something she failed to deduce because she was :::Ta-da!:::: to immature to understand that.
Or she was to immature and drove him away.

How can she predict someone's actions? You don't know how someone will be as a parent until the baby arrives. I think the baby dad should be held more accountable than the parent that stayed.

That's why you take time to get to know the guy. I have multiple sisters. Not a single one of them got knocked up and abandoned. They all found husbands who married them. Why do you think that is. Are they all just incredibly lucky? Or is it more likely the just used thier head and acted with responsibility.

You made a valid point that you have to get better but what if you're co-parenting? If you're not in a relationship anymore but co-parenting does that fall under single mothers being irresponsible?

Generally. Because women (or men for that matter) don't typically dream of "co-parenting" one day.

I'm not suggesting love is perfect, it's not. But most things can be worked out if you properly vet your partner and choose the right man or woman. Most people in this position simply don't though. They get all in thier feelings and think everything else will just fall into place. But it typically a deeper problem. Most of these people don't even know what to look for in a partner. So it's no surprise the ones that choose tend flame out like they do.
