People have tried but they have no luck with me whatsoever , if someone on the internet makes excuses as to why they can’t prove who they truly are to you? don’t waste anymore of your time on them. Apps like Snapchat can help you decide if someone is being legit with you or not , if they can’t video chat you and make excuses as to why they can not meet You on Snapchat , they are more than likely bullshitting you period. I use Snapchat because Snapchat only requires an email to create an account not a phone number , and Snapchat allows you to video chat , Stay away from apps like Telegram or signal etc. that require a phone number because you can easily get hacked if someone gets your personal information. I use Snapchat mainly for that reason of keeping me safe , There are hackers and catfish pretty much on every site , so it’s best to play it safe than sorry. There are a lot of catfish on this site as well that make excuses as to why they can’t video chat you , so don’t fall for that shit , Downloading Snapchat is free and it only requires an email to create an account , if they can’t meet you on Snapchat and can’t video chat you , kick them to the curb

Yes on an anonymous chatting site. "Maria" was a very convincing girl. I could almost always tell when someone wasn't a girl due an obvious different in the male and female personality. But not "maria" that was a convincing fake. So he gave me his contacr info I was going to add so we could keep in touch but I am not an idiot so I looked up the info to see what the likelyness was of being catfished. It came up as a gay guy from Peru. So what to do was simple, I simply ignored it, didn't add it and then we never met each other again.

I have never been catfished but I have been I. Q. Fished where people I thought were super smart turned out to be normal intelligence. I have also been personality fished where people I thought were virtuous turned out to be psychopaths.

I don't buy that at all! With cameras, it takes a second to upload a new photo. The last thing I would want to have happen, would be to show up for a date and have them go...uhhh, are you sure this is you. My friend actually gave the best advice, she said, put a real time plane image of yourself, minimal make-up, hair plain and not done up, because then you can show up to the date all done up and you can look way better than what they expect, AND they know what you look like plain and simple with no fuss.

I've had it attempted. Catfish are generally lazy so it's pretty easy to see through the vast majority of them if you have you're wits about you.
