I did... Most of the guys are disrespectful and married approach me... I just wrote off dating.. I don't think I'll find someone who shares my beliefs and values

You will and I feel the same way. I think it’s when you stop looking it when it happens. And also same situation with these married men and it be the ones that just got married to and have little ones still trying to cheat on their wife. It’s so sad. I cannot do it. I will never be second to no woman.

But no try changing up where you normally meet the guys. I’m not saying look for it but maybe change where you go to put yourself around maybe more quality man. It can be church, get off the dating sites because usually that’s where a lot of the guys prey. Let it just happen naturally. go out with your friends and get into something. You’re really interested in and I’m telling you he’s gonna come when you’re not even trying to find him.

You're definitely looking at it all wrong. When you try a super hard to find what you're looking for you never going to find it. Love takes Time. But on the other hand maybe you're looking in the wrong places try to find that person. Not all men are perfect and neither are women. A lot of women out here or mostly gold diggers or unfit to be wife material.

I haven't "given up on finding someone" so much as I've actively removed myself from dating, altogether.

One is a resignation, and the other is a choice. After being devestated by someone you've loved for a long time, it just feels safer to be alone.

I'm not entirely sure that I genuinely ever wanted to date. In the past, I thought that I wanted to. But I believe I was just being led by my hormones. Once the hormones calm down, I was always hit with a feeling of just wanting to be around & be sexual with enjoyable & authentic people. Not to date. But to be connected with in a less naive way.
