Absolutely not.

In my adult life, I am quite the contrary. I am very cautious whom I give my affection to because in 99% of the time, this affection is being misused by the recipient of it. Thus, I withdraw it and for me to be affectionate with someone, I better do my homework and know that person inside out for at least 10 years.

Also, I am not physically intimate because of the same reason. People will misuse you, regardless of what anyone says. There will always be a time where you will have to perform against your will and that is emotional abuse.
