I liked a guy 3 years ago that was not that facially beautiful and I liked him cause I made assumptions about his personality and intelligence and behaviour. I later concluded I did not know the guy enough to form such a positive impression of him and that there were other guys that were more amicable and pleasant than him.
Because he's nice and smart
