Why are guys more attractive when they are in a relationship?

Why do girls find guys more attractive when they are in a relationship? Is it because they are having regular intercourse and the hormones show through?

I'm not sure how correct that statement is but I can say when I've been at social events it's always a case the one guy I think is attractive is also taken.. sucks.

My theory is that because they are in a relationship they are relaxed and confident. They are not trying to score or charm.. They are natural and talk animated about topics (rather than trying to impress or come out with cheesy chat up lines).

The other theory of course is... if they attractive why would they not be in a relationship? Presuming they had a pick of women to choose from. It's very easy for men to get relationships cos women want a guy to want more than just sex.

To me, a man is certainly not more attractive when or if he is in a relationship. I think that it is a fable to believe that. Where did you get your statistics from? Is it made up or perhaps from a porn site?

A man is actually less attractive because he is a walking risk for women since when he is married, the likelihood that he will cheat is increased.

why a man is likely to be unfaithful during the course of his marriage. The reasons are exactly the same here as why he is more slave of his sexual hormones.

Dunno but I remember when I was dating my future wife and we lived together and our creepy single neighbor kept begging us to go out with him and I thought: no way!!! But I also thought that if he had a hot girlfriend we totally would. So maybe it's something like that.

But no, I don't know that one becomes more attractive just for being in a relationship. Maybe some women think if this guy has kept a woman then he's worth more than guys who haven't so it's a challenge/competitive to get with the guy who is worth more.

Usually women @bigboy133 have eyeballed me or openly given me flirt vibes or flirt behaviours because A) I had recently showered and was clean shaved that day, with terrific hair gel, like my avatar photo or B) They were feeling horny that day and it was the day I entered their vision or line of sight that day or C) they looked at me and something, internally or otherwise, triggered attraction and hence flirty eyes - I mean flirty eyes 👀👀 a bigger bulge than the iron in the Titanic 🚢

Yet some women, perhaps very high value women, who also happens to be at the same time, look and see me or what they want to see and think "now look at that - that stands out - blue eyes, hair, smooth face, clearly older than 18, yet youthful and fit enough" - and he's 5'11 so he's not short or round - damn how are you single "she's thinking" 😊😁

No its simply because they see that another woman has signed off on them as someone who is worthy of having sex with or being with. It's called social proof.

It's more that the desirable men happen to also be taken.

That said, taken men are more attractive to women because of social proofing. He has (theoretically) proven his ability to conduct himself in a desirable manner, as evidenced by the fact another woman has already chosen to date him.

Plus, there's always the "food on another person's plate always looks better" effect. Wanting what you can't have.

It's the notion of 'He's been picked" so women want things that others have and to be seen as "winning" him from someone else. It's pretty toxic and sad iyam.

it has been studied and comes down to a "taken" man is assumed to be vetted already and seen as acceptable as a mate. though that is not tge only reason for it, it is a major one. it is a biologically wired thing in most women.
