Why do women always care about how much money a guy makes?

So i'm self employed and I went on tons of dates and in the beginning before we even went on a date just all just assumed I had tons of employees working for me. Then I could tell they were disappointed when they found out I was the one who did all the work. Honestly, it took me a while to pickup on it but I finally landed enough dates in a row with different girls and I was like, hey this date started off exactly like the last three dates with the same exact questions. What I don't get is why didn't they ask this before we met up if they expect me to have a fortune 500 company? Then the bigger question is why do i have talk about how i make money 3 minutes into the date? The business I described was just one form of income, but like I said, why do I need to lay all my finances out on the dinner table to some girl I met off a dating app that I don't even know?

Are you leading with your financial success as a way to attract women? For example in a dating profile are you flaunting the fact that you are a business owner? If this is the case then you are obviously going to attract women that are only interested in your money.

My advice would be keep your professional life/ financial status very lowkey in the opening stages of dating. Don’t let on that you are well off and see if a genuine attraction develops. Once there are actual feelings and you see that there is potential is the only time I would disclose my financial wellbeing to someone.

I understand man. This is something that's never sit well with me. Like when they ask what you do for a living. I don't have a problem saying what I do for a living. But I know how many of them are trying to size up my income I've never really found a way to answer this question an still be able to hide my wealth.

I just find it weird that multiple women specifically asked how many employees you have. That's a very specific question that most women wouldn't ask, honestly. They might ask what you do for a living but how many employees you have specifically? And multiple different women have asked this same question?

They may not have asked it like that exactly, but they were trying to figure out if it was me that did the all the work or if I had employees. Same thing basically in my eyes. It's the little things ya know? One girl even said I just hope you make enough.

Yeah, I don't have much of a friend circle, or go out much except the usual retail places like home depot, Walmart, the grocery store etc. Women aren't too keen on giving their number out to a random guy at the grocery store it seems

You have a far better shot at a normal relationship if you aren't using dating apps. I can tell you that. Most people only use them because they're easy to use and they don't have to physically approach people in person. Problem is most women aren't even on dating apps. All the men on dating apps are fighting over a small pool of women who are single. Most single women don't use them. I've never used a dating app in my life and neither has any woman I personally know.

Keep in mind you're also fairly attractive. It's not hard to find a guy when 8 out of 10 guys would be interested in you.

I'm not sure. I am usually kind of nervous when approaching in real life. I also think profile pictures always look better online than in real life

What about going to sit at a bar a couple times a week? I'm not really a bar type of person, but the few times I've gone with a friend I've had a girl or two stop me on the way to the bathroom. I've always heard that you don't find quality people in a bar, but it's something different than what I've been doing

Not totally true. Depends on the bar and why the people are there. Are they there to just have fun and unwind a bit? Not getting smashed drunk? Then I don't see an issue with someone just going for a night out. If they are there a lot then there might be an issue. If they're dressed like a straight up prostitute then probably steer clear. Just use your judgement when talking to people in the bar. You can probably deduce who's on the up and up.
