Have you ever been in a long distance relationship? If so, how has it turned out?

So this guy lives about 100 miles away from me. We aren’t together, but we have been talking for about five months now. We have been sexual over the phone, of course and send nudes and (FaceTime here and there) We talk literally every single night. And text every single day Since we’ve met. However, I’ve always questioned, if we ending up taking things further after I go to see him, how would it turn out for the sexual part? Not being able to touch eachother all the time in the present? Would that lead to not being honest with each other or lead to things not working out? it’s just a general thought, and I’ve thought about this.

also he always calls me at same exact times everyday. Before he’s going to work and after work when he reaches home And get settled into bed. And will text in between Sometimes.

In my OPINION , yes I feel the need to capitalize because otherwise some of the cretins on here get all ‘offended’, long distance relationships are an oxymoron. Sure relationships can tolerate distance at times , thats expected because well … LIFE. But , to attempt to harvest some sort of meaningful relationship with a person you cannot touch ( being the most basic form of intimacy , not even sexual ) is just ridiculous. Relationship and long distance are pretty much contradictory , hence the “oxymoron”.


If you need to experience this first hand though then go right ahead.

Turned out bad. Wouldn't do it again unless the guy is really special and just seems like we are meant to be but I don't think that will happen ever again.
