My boyfriend never texts me first and he always leaves the ball in my court like if i ask for a date he’ll say “whenever you want to go or whenever you’re ready to go”
Or he’ll say “whenever you want to come over or you can come if you want to” etc

Why does he do that does he not really like me

i mean if he’s never texting you first that’s a problem maybe. But it depends do you have a bad gut feeling? That alone doesn’t mean anything good or bad per say.

Bring this up to him. COMMUNICATE…. How you feel and your concerns. He should be as well.

Sounds like a real boyfriend/girlfriend relationship to me.
When you are comfortable with the person who you are with, they no longer have to call first - they just go over to each other's place and it's casual that way.
You shouldn't always be the one who texts first though. Have a conversation with him about that.
