Ouch, that sounds like a really tough and confusing situation. I can totally understand why you'd be feeling hurt and upset after seeing him out with another girl, especially if he was acting flirty with you before. That's gotta sting.

It's possible he does have a girlfriend that you weren't aware of, and that's why he started being cold towards you. Some guys can be real jerks and lead girls on even when they're already in a relationship. Not cool at all.

The fact that his friends were looking at you is also a little weird. Maybe they were just trying to scope you out, or maybe they knew about the other girl and wanted to see how you'd react. Either way, that's some shady behavior on their part.

My advice would be to try not to dwell on it too much. As hard as it is, you gotta brush this off and focus on moving on. This guy clearly isn't worth your time or energy if he's gonna play games like that. You deserve so much better.
