I escaped a 10 year relationship and now find myself single and completely bewildered and overwhelmed on the dating scene. These dating sites seem hopeless. I’ve been on a few dates and they all end up being losers or liars. And they all seem to want poly. 🤮 I’m losing hope there’s any good men left out there. 😩 does pure love even exist anymore? Because I am full of love, but these guys all seem to want just one thing.
The only requirements I have is that he’s 6’+, kind, genuine, faithful. I feel like it’s not much.

ladies share all the green and red flags to watch out for? Also how to find a good boyfriend? Where are they?

Sadly the dating world isn’t the same as it was back then, people have become more selfish and only really care about themselves and only want what they feel is best for themselves, I blame social media for a lot of it , sadly when people don’t get their way , they don’t fix it , they just run the other or run to someone else. Because they can’t take accountability for their selfish actions and behaviors whatsoever, it’s always someone else’s’ fault but never their own. When I entered back into the dating world , after breaking up with my ex that I stayed loyal to for many of years , because she decided to be selfish and ruined our marriage I encountered nothing but selfish girls’ that do not know the foundations of a relationship,, that basically want their cake and eat it to. So finding someone that actually wants a traditional relationship these days , is a lot harder to find. For my own sanity , I no longer rush into a relationship with a girl , I prefer her and I to be friends’ first then possibly add in some benefits with some strings attached if we both really like each other. Some strings attached just means we only have sex with each other and. No one else , until her and I really get to know each other before making the big decision of committing together 100 percent. It seems people do not look at the big picture when meeting someone new and interesting to them , we are just infatuated with each other first but once that runs it’s course , that’s when shit usually hits the fan leaving one of you heart broken , FWB’s with some strings attached kind of eliminates that from happening , because we both can make a choice of either staying together or go our separate ways, sadly I haven’t met a girl yet that actually wants to stay together for the long haul , that decides to change her mind once she gets bored or finds someone that she feels is better for her or I find out she is cheating on her boyfriend or husband to be with me. I am over having my heart shit on by selfish lying girls’ so by me not rushing into a relationship , has helped me not be as heart broken , because we are both on the same page with things. It seems people are searching for perfect and sadly not one person on this planet is perfect. So they will be searching for a long ass time if they can’t lower their standards and preferences. Relationships aren’t hard , selfish people make them hard.

YOU probably don't. Your saying, "I feel like it's not much". Is the equivalent of a guy saying, " I want to date Scarlett Johansson, I don't feel like it's much"😆 Have you looked in the mirror? You can make the demands you're making if you're working with much more than you are. But the REALITY is YOU'RE NOT. You do realize 85% of men are under 6' right. Which means right off the giddyup you've eliminated 85% of guys. How many of the remaining 15% do you honestly think would want you?

It is probably not a good idea to go from a 10 year bad relationship right back into dating without taking a significant amount of time for yourself. Especially one that started when you were 17. If I were to break up with my boyfriend right now I probably wouldn't even want to date anyone for at least a year.

Good people are harder to find of both sexes. Pray… don’t jump into bed too fast. Build a genuine connection with someone

If you were in a relationship for ten years, you probably need to take some time off for a while.

Maybe develop some hobbies or something. Do some things to improve your mental health, after you "escaped" (?) your last relationship, which I guess wasn't exactly good.

Sounds like you are looking in the wrong places, maybe do the approaching in places that don't normally have such things happen or something
