Why does my boyfriend never cry in front of me?

I know that it is difficult for guys to share feelings or cry. We can watch a sad movie, or anything and I will tear up. My guy who I love will never ever cry no matter what. He thinks that it will show a sign of weakness. I wouldn't want him crying as much as me who probably cries more than the average woman at a love story in a movie. Ha Ha Ha. Anyhow, it would be ok for him to share a tear just one time. He can get hurt badly and not cry. He says who I don't need a doctor, but just get me a beer and Tylenol and it will be ok. Don't even get me started about him going to the doctor. When he finally does go in, he tells the doctor that his girlfriend made him. What is up with that? Elaborate please!

Okay so I'm an empath you could be on the East Coast I'm on the west coast we can talk to each other on the phone and within 2 minutes if there was something wrong with you I would feel it and I would ask you what's wrong because I feel everything

I used to babysit my nephews and nieces on the weekends they would want to watch scary movies
sure go for it
Uncle Steve sit down watch us with us
No LOL
Because I feel them I feel those movies
And like I tell them if I'm going to feel it I only want to feel it one time in life
And it better be happening right in front of me because then I'm going to do something about it so I will not watch scary movies

Love stories
Things with pets or animals
Cute kids
If it comes from their heart I feel it I will tear up I've had tears running down my face before
And I have to smile or laugh about it because that's just me I don't care what anybody else thinks or says if I feel it I'm going to feel it there's a reason for it

I'm not embarrassed I'm not ashamed it's just who I am I'm a big old boy and you wouldn't think that a big old boy would have tears coming down his face but yeah I've had them many
times

Some guys are macho and they think. They were just show a tear or somebody that they feel something they might think something different of them
Might look at them as if they're weak or something.
Or not a real man

. And I would never ever say this out loud because I really don't care anyway but I don't need to. . Act. A certain way to make people think anything or think of me in a different light. And it's just for this question
But I'm as real as they get I'll just leave it right there

And I guess since I went that far I might as well go one step further and just because I am who I am doesn't mean it is something comes down or happens that I have to project that badass because I know who I am I know what I'm all about and I will keep things civil until I'm pushed into whatever

But see that's just me because I truly know who I am I truly like myself I'm not afraid for people to look at me and laugh for point or whatever I could care less I'm just me and that's it I don't need to act anyway to tell everybody who I am because I know who I am and I'm the same person all day long no matter what and that's just life
so there are guys out there. That want to hold up an image and I mean I can understand that maybe.

So you kind of just have to let him be who he is I guess and not really worry about it except for when you think he has to go to the doctor and he's telling me to get in the damn car now

I don’t even want Tylenol or even the beer for that matter if pain related. I rather know it is there and not cause further damage versus numb myself and cause something worse just because I feel no pain.


As for the crying or tearing in front of you … Romance movies are likely the spot that many men will get misty-eyed over. Especially if they cannot relate to the storyline. Which I doubt most men do. Further, most men learned a long time ago that regardless what our women say, never show a tear in front of women as it always comes back to haunt us. Always…

One of the few things my mother did well as a parent was teach me to never bottle emotions , I'd be unlikely to cry at the injury , however I may shed a tear at the Rom / Com or the like , I always cry quietly when watching " The Notebook " for example.
Many men bottle up feelings and it is actually incredibly unhealthy, so for his own well being he should learn to let go - my brother is same.

As for not attending the doctor and not having a yearly physical , that's never a good idea.
He needs to learn to express feelings , otherwise everything will be bottled up , and that is dangerous.

Well to answer this I'd need to know him, you and his attitude towards you.
I don't know if this guy is who he is. Or if he's who you want him to be with you. I can tell you this. Based on what I know of you thus far. I wouldn't cry either. At least not until I found somebody I really wanted to be with.
