Do most people always have someone they can hookup with or go back to?

• I don't have much of a social life, but it seems like the people who do always seem to have someone they can either date or go back to and hookup at a moments notice whether they're in a relationship or not. They know a friend of a friend type of thing, etc. This always seems to happen to me. I'll be dating some girl and all of a sudden she's now with some other guy on a whim. Nobody ever comes back to me that's for sure. Never thought I'd be one of those guys, but here I am, you just can't trust anyone these days.

For me it seems like every time that I get into a relationship within the first week I start meeting all types of different girls and they all want to do something and what's really cool is that I am me and I know who I am and what I want and I don't have to go there but there's always going to be somebody in your life when you have a significant other that would make it easy for you to do but that's when you have to step up and make a choice on who you really are and who you want to be and how you going to treat the person that you're with and you just don't go there it's a growing moment and every aspect and in that moment you get to choose who you want to be you can either be that dick that does stupid things are you being man and man up and say sorry I'm with somebody

I certainly don’t. I’m not into the hookup thing. Relationship or nothing for me.

Well even then. It still seems like a lot of people know someone who they can get into an actual relationship with in a heart beat.

I mean, if I put myself out there I could (if single) but would it be quality? Rushing into one for the sake of it? Nah.

So I am patient and wait. I waited over a year to meet my current boyfriend.
