What do you think is the main reason why a lot of women don’t want to date a man who is shorter than themselves?

We want the biggest, strongest warrior in the tribe who can hunt game and defend us in battle, while hopefully not treating us too badly. Smaller guys have to prove they have superior wit, skill and creativity to compete, otherwise a bigger guy could just kill him and steal us. It's basic survival instinct for us women.

Insecurity…. Superficial. As well as sometimes it’s just attraction. It depends on the woman but that’s my honest thoughts.

It’s nothing to be bitter over for shorter men. Most of those women aren’t women you would want to be with anyways.

Being tall is more masculine and being short is more feminine. Evolutionarily speaking having a larger male mate would mean he could protect his family better than a smaller guy on average.

Because they're tired as sitting on a chair and when their boyfriend wants some cereal he has to crawl up on her knee up on the counter and get the box of cereal they're just tired of that crap

Or with it when they want to go out on a date when he presses the gas pedal all you could do is just barely see his hat over the steering wheel she has to drive all the time she's tired of that

Because the sorts of women attractive in their 20s I've seen with my own two eyes are often, if they're not women who are about 5 foot 5 or shorter, than they're 5 foot 1 at most or shorter and of various degrees of attractive.

Now me, I'm 5 foot 11. Most guys in my life who I've seen with my own two eyes as fellow straight guys walking past or I've seen are usually my height or taller or only slightly shorter than me aka 5 foot 10 or 5 foot 9 at worst.

So it makes sense if you base it around whats around and what other deem attractive or unappealing of the opposite sex's qualities, features, etc etc 👀👀👀

The short answer, pun intended, simply would be; there aren't too many 5 foot men or shorter, and women it seems are biased to prefer "looking up" at the their man's chin.

I read that chin part somewhere online, some supposed study. Yet it makes sense. That said, some women, will date a man shorter than themselves, but why, that's the question, why. Why indeed. 🥱

In a word, genetics. It's the result of thousands of years of human evolution. Tall is a masculine trait, and short is a feminine trait. Hetero men are attracted to femininity and hetero women are attracted to masculinity.

That's not to say some shorter men and taller women aren't attractive to the opposite sex. There are exceptions to every rule.
