It has to do I with the genders respective vetting process.

I mean I could ask why are women so picky. And you would give me YOUR reason for it. Which I'm sure to you SEEMS valid. But the problem is IF that were true women would choose much better mates. And the REALITY is most the time they don't.

So back to my initial point. Women choose men. Men do not get to choose women. Men are RELEGATED to the women that are willing to consider them. Men knowing that they have little say in the process know there is little reason to get invested. A smart man learns to recognize what a woman wants to hear and mimics that till the woman is bonded to him. At this point knowing that the woman will not want to break this bond the man can now relax. He has secured his mate. There simply is no reason to give anymore.

Think of it like this. Gold is valuable because of it's scarcity. Diamonds are not. Diamonds are valuable because one company DeBeers has controlled the vast majority of the world's diamond sources for the past couple hundred years. So it's not scarcity. It's one company with a monopoly dictating price. Conversely there are 4 billion women on this planet. But a fraction of them are young, another fraction are attractive, another fraction are decent human beings. I could keep going but you get the idea. This means with an equal amount of guys not every guy (even if the woman considers him) is going to get a desired woman. At this point it's simple supply and demand. You don't pay top dollar for a car that's 10 years. old over 200k miles on it with an engine that burns oil. (Women are the car in this analogy if you're not following). Yet these women still want to be viewed and regarded as a brand new car.😆 So as I said the guy may not really want her. But that is his only option. So a guy will do what he has to do to secure her. But you can understand he's not going to be very enthusiastic about it. So again, he's going to do what he has to do to secure her, till she's bonded. Then he's going to show her the love and attention (or lack thereof) that she can rightfully expect given her ranking.

Sorry, but claiming that your opinion is "just the truth" is incorrect. That may be your experience, but it's hardly a universal fact, and just makes you look ignorant, especially at your age.

There are plenty of men who are very involved in their relationships, and many women who are not, the same as the other way around. It's based on the individual person, and not on their gender.
