Why aren’t girls more direct?

I am women with a learning disabilitiesn and I am very direct and yet men don't even bother listing unless they want something. Even when rejected guys that just want short term. It seem like they don't even listen to me at all and Keep trying. That I only looking for long term relationship.

Depends on circumstances. Sometimes it’s to spare your feelings. Sometimes we worry that by being direct it could worsen the relationship or friendship. Sometimes we really don’t think in such a direct way and don’t know what we want just yet. Men do this kind of stuff too, I think it’s more of an individual thing than a gender specific thing.

Once I approached a table at this outdoor diner place, and the girl sitting at the table just said "not interested dude" without even looking at me. And i just chuckled a bit and took the salt... which is what I had intended to do in the first place.

My first ex was a lier and also did lie about his learning disabilities that made him cheat. I knew it was lie. Women can also lie as well.

Because it was embedded in our brains from a young age that we're always supposed to be "nice, good, polite, feminine, quiet & agreeable" because that's what a girl is, not a "bitch". So that's why some have trouble speaking up and expressing themselves

That's completely false. I know so many males who would love females to take more initiative and direct approaches. Personally, I think it's best to stay away from people who lose interest in you based on not following a "social code". They're dehumanizing and it's toxic for you. So many men wish that women would make the first move because we always feel like we have to carry all the weight and pressure of the dating world. It would be nice for women to equalize the responsibility and efforts in the dating world by taking initiative and being more direct.

@UnlovedWife Don't listen to that advice. It's not only toxic for you, but toxic for men. This belief just adds pressure to both sides. Men are pressured to make the first move and women are pressured to wait for the man they want instead of pursuing. Men are human too. We're not all confident. In fact probably most of us aren't confident enough to "make a move and make it known". Just like how there are women who aren't confident and women who are. We share the same emotional wiring because we're humans. If he doesn't make a move don't assume it's because he isn't interested in you. That's the worst assumption you could make. Instead take the chance and make a move on him. He'll love it. And if he thinks it's unattractive that you made the first move then he isn't worth dating as his mind is constricted by social codes which are toxic. Don't be afraid to pursue!
