Girls, why most girls won't approach first?

are most girls shy or not interested? does the guy approaching first gives relief so you don't have to approach as a girl? (my best friend is a girl as well so please don't assume things about me :P)

Some do. Majority don't because society throughout the years said that wasn't ladylike and only sluts do that.

yeah you are right, but also it seems a ton of girls are shy too so it may be part of it

I am glad :) but that is like maybe less than 10% of girls that do it xp. I have approached first most of the times (this is how I make friends out of college as well) but it gives a ton of anxiety :p but after experiencing near death made me realize that if I want something I have to go for what I want :)
