If so was it worthwhile or mainly scams? I would like to find a site to establish friendships and see what it turns into. Met one person on here, started out very well, but they just wanted to play games. Any suggestions? USA Texas area

Dating apps are not for friendships. Stick to forums for that. And if they happen to be close enough to meet great.

I wish. I love this forum but all the great guys I meet are U. S or Australia and I'm U. K. and I haven't found a U. K forum like this.

As you are U. S based.. here should work for you. Maybe. Cos I don't know how genuine or nice the women here are. There's been some strange ones lol

Most are very nice. But like you said you are in the UK. I have met some here I would like to meet even if it’s just for dinner or a drink

I have and most are for dating not finding friends. There is Bumble for Friends though but majority is for dating.

My wife and I met the old fashioned way, in person. I've never been on there but I hear all the horror stories.

Women only swiping on a small percentage. Women having so much choice they can never decide on one and endlessly think the grass is greener. People used to get to know each other a little bit and other qualities would attract them as well but with just the dating app everything is the most superficial stuff and those other qualities never can come through.

My sister has been hanging out with others through Facebook. Apparently there's a space on there too that can help you connect with new people, that's more friend-based 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've used Tinder, Bumble, many over the years.
Towards the end of my 20s and also in my 30th, I used bumble.
Same old thing really lol 😆
