The problem is that you can't quantify or logic the pros. For people who want them, the pro to having children is having children. The pro for parents is that they love being that kid's parent. That is impossible to translate to everyone - some people are just not going to being a parent and that's fine.

Because you're asking if there's any benefits from having kids. If you bring happiness and love into your parents lives, that is exactly why people have kids. A child is also a greater reason to live than just living for yourself. Sometimes a child is the only reason some people keep going and don't blow their brains out.

lmao ok so i should birth a child that will for one, ruin my body and probably make me feel ugly for the rest of my life, and then i should wake up every hour of the night bc its crying and getting shit and vomit all over me, then have to financially support it until its 18 years old. does that seem like life to u? being trapped for 18 years? can't travel as much as u want to, can't do what u want? and that kid would go on my nerves 24/7 so id prob neglect or even abuse it. so hell no.
