Why are Indian scammers trying to scam me all of a sudden?

I have observed this in the past few weeks. They try to know my personal details offering me guidance for education outside India. Some even claim to be the ones who grant visa. I am not stupid enough to believe them but can you imagine the damage they can cause to a sweet naive person who might fall for their tricks? I receive at least one call every day and I pick up thinking it can be worthwhile.
From now on, no non-Indian should ask me to speak on behalf of them. Don’t ask me why they are defaecating in the streets or trying to scam you. I am not a culprit. I am an innocent victim trying to dodge their bullets.
If you forcibly put me in that team, I’ll just walk alone because no thanks I’m done ✔️

If a scammer sees you as a target, they will try to scam you no matter the color of their skin or what their race may be.

It's always Chinese scammers for me. I get texts or calls for them every other week.

Wasn't that Indian guy from 90 day fiance who fell in love with the old American lady originally a scammer? I know there are many scammers there, but China and Nigeria too
