All the man needs is one little excuse

You know like the wind's blowing and that girl looked at me..
And if she smiles and gives him a little bit of interest he thinks he's smarter than everybody and he will never get caught and he will make up things in his mind putting down his partner to give him that reason to do what he wants

And once again in his head he's not doing anything wrong because he's smarter than everybody and nobody will know a thing

Until the day that he. Gets caught blames his partner cries and wines he's sorry because now the whole world's going to know what he just did to his wife or partner and he's going to be labeled as a cheater he doesn't want his parents to know he doesn't want his friends to know so he will do and say anything to stop that from happening

But it's too late and that's good because it should be too late and you should be kicked to the curb because he's not that smart he's a dumb jackass

Because marriage never protected anyone from succumbing to their secret wishes, not centuries ago, still not now. In a way, I might even say that marriage fuels such desires by establishing a moral barrier to trespass. Transgressing rules is notoriously attractive for the mind.
