I mean it depends. There are LOTS of people who have good personalities who just aren't compatible bc they also want certain things. Or perhaps *I'm* not *their* type in terms of my personality... It's a two-way street.

But yeah, I do usually go for sort of a plainer guy with one or two outstanding features (physically) and a personality that meshes well with mine. You can tell we're testing each other out with jokes and stories and such. It's not super complicated.

Like is she really THAT ugly, or is she just simply slightly below average? I believe there is a big difference between the two.

And how good is her personality? Is she just a normal nice person or is she just far and beyond?

Either way, if she was THAT ugly I don't think I'd be able to make it work no matter how much I tried or wanted to. I've actually tried that before. Though her personality was amazing every time we met in person I constantly kept wishing I was with another woman because I was just so dissatisfied physically.

Slightly below average though? Sure, it can work. Even if she's the type of person I'm not that attracted to at a first glace, me loving her personality will probably eventually lead me to love her imperfections as well.

No, I never take things further because I am simply not interested in taking those thing beyond a conversation.

However, in all my posts about looks, I keep stating that to me, looks are unimportant and that I only place emphasis on character, personality and intellect. Those 3 assets are way more important to me than look will ever be.

Looks fade with time while a good character, outstanding personality and high intellect tend to stay until late in life. Look at most people aged 50+, their once so pristine looks have faded like a dried flower and they are not able to interest anyone with their looks. On the other hand a 65+ year old person that is able to hold a conversation and to teach a younger generation something will always be on top of anyone's list.
