So my ex message me to say he will always love me but he has a girlfriend and when I said I am dating someone he now saying he doesn't love me

1. He MAY have thought to show you some kindness because he figured you'd find out he was with someone new... then in hearing that you're with someone new also he dropped the act.

2. He MAY still have feelings for you but in seeing that you've moved on he claimed to be with someone and also flipped the script concerning his declaration of feelings.

3. He MAY be hurt in knowing that you're with someone... and regardless of whether he's with someone (possibly just a temp rebound thing to get over you) he is trying to test whether you still have feelings for you.

It seems you’re dealing with a manipulative person who still wants to exert control over you as well as get narcissistic supply from you.

When he found out that hee not going to get it form you it made him angry. He’s probably playing mind games and playing with your emotions. Whether you love him….. whether you’re heart broken over him…. Whether you miss him. Whether you’re angry with him…. Whether you hate him. He’s getting himself fed from your attention. He’s controlling you. He’s making you feel certain ways because it’s better then you not feeling anything at all
