Hey all Male, 20 years old here I wanted to ask for some opinions about my difficulties in finding a proper relationship. I'm well aware that you should find the "right one" but key problem is that women around my age don't seem interested in me whatsoever. In fact; I conducted an experiment with a friend and some tinder profiles. We created mine, which was mostly showcasing my work life and shared a few details of what i do in my spare time. While my friend (same age and gender) created a page that was just full of male sex appeal. Whaddya know, he's still getting attention while I got nothing.
My thought process is before settling on one person, i need to see who is out there and try and find someone who can click with me so to speak. However, I can never interact with women my age, either (from my way of thinking at least) because they just aren't interested, because i think differently than most of my generation etc...
Interestingly enough however I can easily start and maintain a conversation with women who are 30+ years old, and I think the main reason is just because I've been working my rear end off since i was 10, both physically and mentally aging me. When I say "working" i mean i either worked freelance or contracted whenever the opportunity presented itself, I only got payroll work once i turned 16, and even then it took a toll on my mind and body. Even now, im working/schooling 6 days a week. Here's where I get confused, I'm a dependable and pretty independent guy who's lived without his parents for 3 years, about to graduate college to go into the aviation industry as a mechanic, semi-social, and pretty relaxed... Yet in the 3 or so years I've lived on my own I haven't seen a single ounce of interest from a single woman my age. The only ones I've managed to talk to OUTSIDE work or school are significantly older, which isn't a bad thing, but my point still stands, am I just unwanted by women my age? What do you think is the cause of my difficulties?
