Is this a good plan?

My bestie has told me that she likes a guy from aspie group. The good looking, life of the party guy. I like another guy that goes there. The quiet intellectual guy.

I had an idea; that we would invite them both to my birthday party and hold a big one, with lots of friends invited, at a low key place, like a nice pub or club that were all familiar with. With the purpose of us hitting on them. That way it’s non threatening and not obvious. Will this work, if they are interested in us?

I would assume that a quiet guy probably isn't into big events or gatherings. At least not when they don't know everyone, and even then...

I would argue that I'm a quiet guy myself. I once got invited to a pub with a few of the other students in my class. She wanted me to at least try, so I said okay. I went. I didn't feel like drinking. I couldn't hear what anyone was saying because the music was insanely loud, and I spent the whole time just sitting there doing nothing. I didn't know what to do with myself, and I couldn't understand how anyone could enjoy this (still don't). I eventually left early. Not mad or anything, but it didn't work for me whatsoever.

If they are autistic they may not be able to swoon well in a large group with all the distractions. They also may be hit on by other guests if they are as desirable as you feel.
I’d try a smaller get together or a one on one date at a museum or lecture.
It might be an idea to ask him what environments he feels comfortable in.

I don't know, seems to be a bit too much just to show two guys you are interested.. I don't think they would catch on, unless you stuck with them for most of the party..

Why be cautious? Do you mean, keep things subtle?

I mean things could go wrong if you invite them to a big event too soon. Try something small like a dinner date without all the outside interference from your friends.
