My boyfriend thinks this is okay?

So my boyfriend and I work together and before we got together he had a few drunken kisses with another woman in my job. This woman has been nasty to me as a result but my boyfriend and I were chatting yesterday about her and although he doesn't chat to her he said when he sees her he says hi and tells her she looks fab when she's in a group. He thinks this is okay and I obviously dont. What do you think about it?

He can say hi, how are you? Blah blah blah but he Doesn't need to flirt or blow up her eagle by saying you look fab Because that's just gonna make her think a lot of different things at the same time And that is just not cool
