Does my boyfriend right?

I live with my family and my boyfriend comes sometimes to spend time with me. We eat, have fun together. I always share food I have even if I don’t cook. One day we were drunk and I asked him can you order something for us. I don’t remember how we start but on the car we were arguing about why I don’t cook more. I told him that I’m not your wife and he was like I’m not your husband either why I have to pay for everything then. He said why would I need a woman if I can buy food and cook. I was pissed off and I yelled “go fuck yourself then” we didn’t talk much and when we came home he said should I serve or you want to prepare the table? And I was like “shut up!” And week after we were talking about that day and arguing. He said he wants something from me, not from my family because we both work. He remind me again that I said I’m not his wife then why he would act like he’s my husband and pay for everything but it doesn’t matter he is the man. Man should take responsibility for financial part in the relationship. This is how my culture is. Am I wrong? I’m already cooking not all the time but sometimes but he acts like I have to do everything for him.
