None of her business.
I could maybe see it if he had kids with his ex
But I wouldn't text her to let her know if I ran into her. Some place I might say something but I wouldn't go out of my way to let her know anything.

Hard to say. Women sometimes do that with their exes. They might have dumped him but once he moves on with his life they get curious about him and his partner, life even children because it's what could have been.

Your boyfriend could either be bragging about you and the baby or trying to put her off, maybe she hurt him and he wants to say that yeah he was good enough
