How would men cheer up the women that they care about if the women that they care about are sad?

The reason why I'm asking this question is because I wanted to know how would men cheer up the women that they care about if the women that they care about are sad and here is an example: men asked the women that they care about what's wrong and the women that they care about tells the men what's wrong and the men cheers the women that they care about with a hug and telling her that everything will be alright and please no inappropriate opinions and please appropriate opinions

Just ask her how's she's doing and try to be there for her and listen to what she has to say and comfort her and hold her

Yes men try to make her happy and smile by saying positive things.

We wouldn't. Or at least not for long. Because it's not a guys job to do that anymore than it is a woman's job to do that for a man.
