Because genuinely falling in love takes time as well as the right person. So long as you don’t lack empathy or something else like that it’s completely normal. If you’re only 17 years of age the right person either hasn’t come along or you’re just not there yet.

If someone doesn’t feel right don’t waste your time and more importantly don’t waste their time either. It’s not that you can’t love someone platonically or love your family members. You just haven’t fallen romantically in love.

Maybe your not ready.
Maybe you haven't found the right person yet

And do you know how to love. Maybe your not ready for that

But we can only love someone as deep as we love ourselves.

And you can only love someone to the depth that you have experienced

We only talked for the other day but within 3 days we got very attached to each other and but it was my mistake to break up I cried a lot and regretted it but I didn't have enough maturity I was 18 and he was 24 but I don't think I can get over this please help what should I do can I fall in love again and I loved and cared about him so much I miss talking to him etc but I don't have any other choice but to fall in love with someone else?
