He wants to set us up, I was like "Are you sure?", he responded "I'm not blind, dude, I can tell you two like each other".

I don’t think it’s weird at all but if you’re not really into her or otherwise feel uncomfortable by it then you can absolutely just tell him you appreciate it but aren’t interested in doing it.
However, if you like her then I would say go for it. See where things go you just never know the way things may end. Wish you the best
I'm into her, he picked up on it without me telling him, he says she has a crush on me.
Then asker I would definitely go on the date.
Sure, there is risk involved. But you never know if you never try… Just take it slow see where it goes see if you’re compatible.
It’s great that you already know her too. So you know what she’s like and can build a connection with her. Verses some random person you don’t know
@summeroflove Yeah, true. I'm also apparently one of the few guys who doesn't get annoyed by her, she laughs all day every day, which my brother says turns off would be boyfriends.
So asker seems like you both may be right for one another. Everyone is different but I think you should go for it.
Whoa, that's a bit of an unusual situation, ain't it? Your best friend wanting to set you up with his own sister? That's kinda awkward.
I mean, on one hand, it could be a good thing if he thinks you two would hit it off. He knows you both pretty well, so maybe he sees some potential there. And if he's cool with it, that's something.
But on the other hand, dating your best friend's sibling can get messy, you know? It could put your friendship at risk if things don't work out. And there's always the potential for family drama and tensions.
I'd say it's worth having an honest conversation with your buddy about it. Make sure he's 100% comfortable and not just trying to play matchmaker. Get a feel for where his sister's at too - is she into the idea or is he pushing it on her?
If everyone's genuinely on board and excited about it, then hey, could be worth a shot! But don't feel pressured into it just because your friend thinks you'd be a good match. Make sure it's something you both really want.
Just tread carefully, my dude. Mixing friends and family can get complicated. But if you think this girl could be worth the risk, then go for it. Just be prepared for the potential consequences, both good and bad. Good luck, man!
