a little, we all change with time, even our taste for food. I'm more open in my thinking than I used to be, but less leanate in forgiving for transgression. I've been with my wife for over fifty years and we're both different than when we met. She has become more conservative where I have become more inclined and open to try new things. We get along but we don't click like we used to and that's all a part of life. I was infatuated with the old her but not so much the woman she's become, we're not going to separate or anything like that but my type has not changed where as my wife has. I still love her and always will but we're not the same people or as close as we once were due to life changes that have occured. She used to love the way I am, not so much anymore. Our vows have been tested but remain unbroken. We're a couple and shell remain as such. Am I part of the blame, probably but I'm working on becoming more acceptable to her. We'll never be like we once were but we can work together to improve what we still have. That's how marriages work.

There used to be a lot of things that I would find impressive in a woman but through life experience I find them less and less so

So now I look for one layer deeper than I used to before

When I was younger. Hispanic, bearded, tatted, tall, nice teeth and a good head of hair. My current guy meets less than half that list. Tall and bearded (sometimes) and bald with a nice smile. He has no tattoos (tho I'm trying to convince him) and he's white.

My ex prior to was a blonde long hair, tattoos and kinda tall.

The one prior to that was a girl.

So my type (s) has definitely changed.

@summeroflove throughout my 20s I started to really decide that yes I did want short, caucasian pale, big dark brown eyes, or big brown eyes, loves sunscreen, preferably clear skin or as clear as mine maybe clearer naturally, eyeliner or mascara most days, I love my hair gel for example so, 🙃😋😈, and to be 5 foot tall or under or no more than 5 foot 1. Lol and light :) as I'm light lol I'll break otherwise 😭 🩻🩻💪🏻 and a humble personality, submissive, not career driven woman yet not a lazy layabout who'd drinking and vaping or worse or already knocked up lol, hell no 😭

Not really.

Except when I was younger I was low-key kind of racist. Not in a "kill all Black people" sort of way, more like "attractive Black people don't exist" sort of way. I just didn't like darker skin at all. Heck, I didn't even like White girls who were slightly tanned. I only liked girls with like skin the color of snow, and I hated when White girls would try to tan their "beautiful pale skin."

These days I like women of all races though! Maybe even with a very slight preference towards darker skin since dark skin is different from my own skin and I like the contrast. And as for White girls some of them look really good with a tan.

And to be clear, when I used to hold those racist thoughts I was like in... either middle school or elementary school, lol. But by high school I had changed them.

Yeah. I started off preferring clean cut, boyishly handsome, preppy looking guys. As I got older, I came to prefer the more masculine looking men. I attract both types now. My boyfriend, the man most interested in me recently, before we became a couple, is clean cut and preppy, boyishly handsome. In this case though, we just had a lot in common personality wise as well as attraction wise.

Looks wise my preferences always shift to the person I was last with. So my ideal looks shifted more in favor of slim girls rather than medium for example. But personality wise it never changed I just understand it better.

I used to like tattooed goth girls. Buy I realized after being around them they usually are gay or bi, hate men, slutty drunks and drug addicts. I go for good girls now. Not churchy types but much more down to earth hard working types who went to college and have goals in life.
