I believe the number is still a fair bit below where it would be if people dated blindly.

That said, there has absolutely been a rapidly increasing trend of interracial dating and marriage. Having roughly increased 10x now compared to 50 years ago.

So first, women are the most likely to date outside of race. So your observation is not exactly strange. That said, as the number is still less than random dating would be it comes down to your perception having an inflated or inaccuarate representation of what numbers would be normal if people date with no preferences.

Basically the answer is, as a group there is no preference shown. There is however a sharp upward trend. Is it possible your online algorithm believes you have an interest in the matter and feed you lots of representation? That too is a common source of misinformation today.

So TLDR is, it is shockingly more common now than before but still less common than if people dated blindly.

Some people have a racial preference but many times it’s not as much about race as it is about character. Same as black women date white men.
