I don’t think people think it’s bad. It’s usually the person in the relationship who determines if they like it or not. Most men would prefer a girl who is shorter because we tend to associate being short w feminine. Most men are taller than women. Most men who are short probably had to deal w other men who gave them shit for their height. So when they meet a girl who’s taller sometimes it makes them feel emasculated. Imagine a taller female carrying a short man into the bedroom.

I had a girl get really offended with me the other day. I have never known a guy who had a problem with a taller woman. It's something I hear allllll the time from women. I feel bad for short guys. This is legitimately "a thing." But I have only ever heard it from girls.

If you are a tall woman, who doesn't care if a guy is shorter. There are about a hundred-thousand short guys near you... who are eager to meet you.

I think it's silly. Glad you seem... not silly.

The same reason gay / interracial relationships bother people. It's something different that makes people have to think differently for a moment and some people can't help but react negatively to anything different from them.

People don't consider it bad, per se. It's just unnatural in a sense. Men are generally naturally taller than women. Tall is masculine, short is feminine. Men are attracted to femininity and women are attracted to masculinity. Nature.
