my friend’s family friend has started messaging me I’ve met him a few times in the past they’re kind of far away but I’ve considered him a friend. But recently he has started liking all of my Instagram stories especially selfies and then after I posted a photo of me in a cute dress going out for my friends bday dinner he promptly asked if I was single which I wasn’t at the time so I told him I was taken then asked why he’s asking and he said just curious. recently he heard I think that I’m single again but he sent me a meme today saying to send this to someone way shorter than you and he will randomly send me pics of his pets or cool decor in his room.

He also offered to help me fix my car after I said my ex didn’t successfully fix something he said bring your ass here I’ll do it. also at one point we were talking about his pets and I was like why don’t you go bring your cats to your room and he was like saying how his room is separate from the rest of the house I don't know if that’s a coincidence he mentioned that or like what his intentions are. But he did say hopefully I go visit soon wondering if it sounds like he’s flirting?
he also sent me a selfie of him today back when he had longer hair and said he misses his long hair?

Sounds like he is interested. Maybe ask with your words when you get him to fix your car whether you should pay him. If he says no then he is interested, if he says yes it's gonna cost XXX then say, how about dinner instead? Then YOU take the lead and arrange a romantic or not dinner.
