yhi… I’ve done that. sometimes, you just want to see if the effort goes both ways, if they actually care enough to reach out. with someone, it felt like i was always the one waiting, hoping he'd text first. iIn the beginning, he made me feel like i mattered, but once he knew i cared, he started pulling away, like he enjoyed knowing i was there, but didn’t feel the need to show up the same way. and I kept waiting, wondering if he’d notice my silence, if he’d miss me enough to break it. but the longer i waited, the more i realized… maybe i was the only one who actually cared...

it doesn't make any sense... I can better learn if they are interested in keeping in contact if I get to know them better...
