Good looking and smoking hot is certainly not my type because the looks say nothing about that person's personality.

Neither is being understanding or reassuring. It takes substantially more than just a few superficial traits for me to want to marry a person.

I place so much more importance on other aspects of a person's character. Those would include (but not limited to):

- Character
- Intellect
- Personality
- Charisma
- Responsible
- Humor
- Caring
- Open mind
- Being respectful of others, animals and nature
- Not selfish
- Altruism
- Honesty
- Humble
- Generosity
- Simplicity
- Kindness
- Smart
- Empathy
- Positive attitude
- Assertiveness
- Good body hygiene

Only then and only then would I consider a person to be in a relationship with but certainly not to marry because I don't believe in marriage. This is old fashioned and outdated in 2024.

There is no doubt that a combination of looks, brains and personality are a person's best bet for a successful relationship.

I'd also add background/culture. If this is too far off your base and you have little in common, that's not a recipe for success.

For me it's all about personality. Someone I can relate to, can make me laugh and have good conversations with. Similar interests is a big bonus, especially if they like to play games like I do. I don't care how hot they are if their personality sucks.
