For those on dating apps, do you date more than one person at a time or do you date just one person you've matched with?

I have quite a few matches. Only gone on one date with one but I'm sure I will be asked out by other matches but I feel kind of bad about doing that. Like I feel like it's cheating even though I know we're not exclusive.

I hate this. What should I do? Focus on the match I went out on a date with or continue to date other matches?

I really like this guy I went out on a date with but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket like I did before and get hurt because he did say he had a lot of hits on his. For all I know he could be talking to and dating a lot of girls. I don't want to believe that but it's more than likely the case. Though we did discuss loyalty last night. So I'm not quite sure. 😕

I think that if I did, I would do it the same way as "in person"

Even. In. Real life I Wouldn't do that because I wouldn't be in that much of a hurry to prove to the first girl I meant on there that.

That's what kinda person I am if I have another date with her.. for me there's just something wrong with that.. because now your sending mixed signals and if a girl was to do that. I probably wouldn't have the next date with her

And I understand there are no comments and people can do what they want but if you both agree to go on another date with each other there must be something there.

When you are single you can date however many people you want to , dating just means getting to know someone , there isn’t any rules set in stone when you are just dating , Shit I dated 7 girls’ at the same time when I was younger because I wanted to take my time finding the right girl , I was open and honest with all of them and they didn’t care , they respected the fact that I was honest. Out of those 7 girls’ one of them became my wife

Presuming that "dating" is just the preliminary connection (dates 1-3), it seems normal not to tie yourself down to one person without knowing how good/bad you are together. After the third date you should know whether you want to fish or cut bait, though, leaving each other free to pursue other people and interests.

I think you have to assume the other party is attractive to others as well and isn't exclusively dating you unless you've discussed it and agreed to become exclusive.

I’ve never gone back and forth

Basically if you have 3 matches
You go on a date with #1
It goes well and you wanna see where it goes: you end things with #2 and #3
It doesn’t go well or you’re not interested enough you move on to #2. But you don’t go back to #1
And so on.

I have used apps in the past and while I wasn’t drowning in matches this approach allowed me to maintain integrity instead of just packing my schedule full of dates and introduce myself over and over again

When i use date app, like bumble. I matched with a mot people, talk with a lot people, and meet up within a week after match.

I don’t call it them date, just meet up, mostly i still be friends with them until now. I don’t have any intentions to date anyone from the app, just looking for new friends to hangout with.

I went off them long ago, never had much luck. Unless your exclusive then you can window shop and date other people.

don't feel bad and I agree don't put all your eggs in 1 basket because if what he says is true and he is meeting up with loads of women then you aren't a ticket number. keep options open and keep dating be sensible and be aware of the red flags first sign of a red flag get out of there even if it means climbing out the bathroom window.

I don’t go anymore as I don’t like it but when I did I talked to one person at a time so long as the person respond fast there s not need to talk to multiple person I just prefer focusing on one person. Talking to multiple person is seen very badly in my country like you re not serious

There is always going to be a “next”. The kicker is knowing point to say, “when” and cease looking for next. There is also that possibility this one could break your heart or whatever, but so can “next”. Keeping with “next” will certainly keep you single. Take a risk and say “when”. They nay surprise you.
