When you are just in the dating stage are you dating multiple people at once or just one at any given time?

Some like to date multiple people at a time jic one fails they have the other or others still so it doesn’t hurt as much.

still others like to only date one person at a time because they feel like thats fair or right for the other person they are dating.

how do you feel about dating multiple people at once? By dating i mean you are still in that phase. You aren’t technically exclusive just yet. Once you get into a relationship then it changes and you are exclusive

To me dating isn't anything serious, I won't even usually kiss someone I'm just dating. Kisses are reserved for a serious relationship. I see dating as hanging out, spending time together, like good friends, to learn about them and see if there might be a future.

I have done the, one date for each night of the week, well 6 nights as I needed a day of rest.

Its way faster to weed out those who just want sex or to waste time, but if I get feelings starting to form for someone, I'll express them to see if he has the same and if he does, make the commitment and no more dating the others.

One at a time is slow and wastes time when after several months, find out all he wanted was sex and now I have to start over again.

Multiple is way to exhausting! I always only focus my attention on one man.
I only text with one, I only talk to one and I only see one. If it doesn't fit, I can move on to the next but I ain't entertaining multiplie dudes

If you found out a guy you wanted to be in a relationship with dated multiple people before being exclusive with you.. would you see that as a red flag? so in the dating phase he was seeing 2 women other then you... but when you expressed you wanted to go to the next level and be exclusive he cut his ties with them.

Haha nah I know what you mean... if it's within the first date of us, I don't care about that but if we had our first date and we both knew we would like to have another and it's going good.
I do expect him to cut ties at that moment, if he doesn't I would think less of him but I must also honestly say that's one of the things I never asked my past men, cause I didn't wanted to know the answer lol
With my last I said how I see it and hoped he would get the hint but he immediately agreed and said he sees it the same way

yeah this is one of those things i would remain quiet about.
its not anything against the girl but its more for me at that moment in the dating phase. if it really doesn't work out so well with her it won't hit me as hard since i still have the others as options. We really oughtta think more realistically about these things even though it mostly is emotional. most dates failing. and we all know how much it sucks when that one person you felt that good connection/bond with doesn't like you back after a few dates and so having others as back up makes it feel less like 'wow how can i ever find another girl like this again' and instead more of 'oh well it didn't work out. more fish in the sea.'

I usually only have one guy that I’m dating at any given time. I have had more than one, and it never worked out for me. I’m sure some women can. Handle the emotional juggling involved with dating multiple guys… I’m just not one of them. To me, I kinda look at dating as a “boyfriend auditions” and I look at boyfriends as a “future husband audition”. So it makes it difficult for me to date more than one guy. But good for those girls who can date more than one guy!

Depends on the situation. Like if I happen to have say for example 3 guys who hit me up around the same time then I will absolutely give the three a shot at the beginning stages of dating, like the first few dates. It keeps the options open in case of bad dates or even a guy ghosting me. Believe me, there will definitely be ghosting or bad dates.

so i’m the very beginning of the dating stage, i usually tend to talk to multiple guys just to keep my options open and see what’s out there. when i begin to become particularly fond of someone and me and the person begin spending a lot of time together, i’ll gradually stop talking to other guys though me and the person i’m fond of aren’t officially together.
