If he's trying his best to keep up with his financial, then everything is fine. Just seeing him try his best and try to be the best for me is even enough for me, because that means he care about himself so that he would care about me too. He doesn't need to be very rich, not everything is money, what's important is being with someone that I can old grow with.

I don't expect him to be rich but I do expect him to have an income that can keep me in the manner I'm accustomed too.

Yes as long as I think he has a realistic plan and set of goals, being not financially sound might be a temporary thing. The relationship I am in now began when he was in grad school with a part time job, he had more money than I had at the time but not tons of money. However I have trouble seeing myself in a relationship with somebody who is OK with being financially unsound and staying that way longterm. JMO!

A lot of people aren't "financially sound" like they could have been and would have been (in America) but because of the way things are constantly changing in the workforce these days. Some people are in a bad position financially through no fault of their own.
You could meet a guy who is "financially sound"" when you meet him - but then there's the wealthiest man in the world causing mass firings of people and suddenly he isn't"financially sound" - so do you dump him then?
If he's just not very ambitious then that would give me pause about him. But if he's ambitious and just in between jobs when you meet him and he has potential to be"financially sound" then yes, I would be attracted to him for having the potential and ambition to make himself"financially sound" with time - but I would give him the time that he needs to change his financial situation.
So yes.

Logically thinking, if he’s your constant support and you’ve been with him and you know he’s going to change then YES.
But if you don’t know him and you are a practical thinker then NO because you might think about raising a family and for that you need a guy to be financially stable.
But you can also work, you can pay the bills etc so before worrying about attracting a financially unstable guy be stable yourself, but don’t depend on him.

I'm attracted to guys with the potential for a six-figure income by age 30. I don't expect college students to have much money. All I require is that they demonstrate they have the potential. They can do that by having good grades at a top university in a major that pays well.

Attraction has nothing to do with their pockets. But would I consider a relationship with them yes if I like them enough and if they have a plan and goal as to where they want to be in life financially and is actively working towards those goals

What does 'not financially sound' mean?

He doesn't have to be rich or well-off. But I do expect him to not live beyond his own means. To have an income that can sustain his own lifestyle, not to have any debt because of stupidity etc.

Whether or not I am attracted to someone would never have anything to do with their financial situation. That's a very nuanced thing, and a lot of it is borne of luck and privilege. Best to assess a person as a whole being.
