How to help a closed one that just got rejected?

You just have to explain to her it's OK. Most of the time it's not what it looks like of feels like.

I have been turned down or rejected and I was more embarrassed then anything but I was over it in a couple of hrs and probably 3 months later I ran in to her and she told me why she said no and it had nothing to do with me.. she had just started a relationship with a guy you have to explain to her Dont take it personal. There are many reason she was turned down she has to remember there are many more guys out there

And if you ask her is she hurt because he said no. Or is she more embarrassed than anything
When it happens it's OK because it's something telling you that person is thevwrong person for you

Just let him or her vent and let them know its alright and that it's not a big deal.

Not much you can do besides be a shoulder for them if they need to vent or whatever.
