Is it weird some people have this weird belief that an older man has sex with someone lot younger even a younger man he's using them, but if it's an older woman with a younger man they are using each other instead.

I never understood this logic because if two people are having sex, they are using each other.

I am not sure that it's the truth to say that women aren't abusing the advantage of age over men. There are a lot of subtle reasons why the consequences can be less impactful for young men and older women. From a man's point of view
1. Physically it is difficult for older woman to over power or force a man to sex.
2. There is good social cashe for sexually activity for men regardless of the age of the partner.
3. Men are easily enticed to sexual activity, because unlike women there is little chance it won't be physically pleasurable. No chance they may get pregnant. Therefore little negative emotional or psychological manipulation is needed. The risk of STD is real but the same. No matter the age.
2. Right or wrong. There are little or no short term, or long term social consequences to many sexual partners of all ages for men.
3. Overall sexual activity and promiscuity is seen as normal for young men.
4. Adult men women rarely apply negative to sexual activity for young men. The long term impact is often underestimated.
in my opinion the social and psychological consequences for young men and older women having a sexual relationship is minimal. Meaningfully it is often a power imbalance and manipulative but young men have lesser consequences externally than do young women with older men. Given I assume that these are adults of consent age. This is also consistent with the criminal perception of the crime statutory rape where typically men are penalized much more severely than women.
So from a societal lens it's seen as normalized and less traumatic, or abnormal than young women with men. In reality it's all a certain point of view that should be consistent but it isn't.

Well I will say I presenting the why not the judgement of what is right or wrong. I have no female frame of reference to decide for myself. I personally think that given a certain age everyone is an adult and age difference just doesn't matter. But I will not back off on my position that under 25 years of age the psychological power that adults have over children is real and takes some to disappear developmentally.

I have been the older boyfriend and I have been the younger boyfriend. Regardless, women are women. As for the sex, I never became involved with a woman for sex or how good (or not good for that matter) she was in bed. I mean, it is cheaper and far less time and energy to remain single and engage in casual sex if getting laid was my lone excuse for getting involved with someone. Which brings me to something that baffles me in the minds of ‘some’ women and ‘some’ men regarding dating older/younger women (and visa-versa). That women are held in such high esteem and believed to be smart, strong, and “empowered” … yet if a woman dates older suddenly that same woman is naive, doesn’t know what she is doing, helpless, and so on. I mean this even goes for a woman in her 40’s dating an older guy that somehow it is just sex and that the guy is just using her. It is a bizarre notion. Whether a couple has an age difference one way or another or they are same or about the same age, women in relationships seem to largely from what I see, are not being controlled nor manipulated. If anything, regardless of age, there are far more men taking the “yes dear”/“let me ask the boss” approach with their women versus this notion that men are somehow steering the ship and the woman is just following.

I feel that a lot of people don't want to take responsibility for their own actions. When two people decide to have sex, they both gave consent to it. The society I live in has decided that anyone 18 years of age or older, is old enough to be making responsible choices with their lives. That doesn't mean that one person isn't doing wrong by taking an advantage of the other person. But that is the risk we all take when we get into a relationship.
