Advice for older women when it comes to dating?

Guys, if you were to date an older woman, what would you want the dynamic to be like? Sometimes, there is chemistry with younger guys, especially if they are mature and have their life together. But older women can sometimes struggle with the masculine, feminine dynamic with younger guys. It's harder to allow them to take care of us. It's also harder not to slip into the maternal role since we've had more life experience.

From my experiences with dating or being in a relationship with an older woman , compared to dating or being in a relationship with a younger girls’ were completely different dynamics , Age never really mattered to me , when I met someone I was attracted to that I had great chemistry and connection with , Just like most relationships , they are all great in the beginning, the passion for each other feels amazing , because you both want each other , because you are both infatuated with each other , but as time goes on and you both really get to know each other , that’s usually when the infatuation period starts fading away , if the both of you aren’t on the same page with things and you both finally see each others’ true colors , that’s when things can start to get bad between the both of you. My experiences with older women weren’t as good as my experiences with younger women because older women tend to carry on a lot more baggage and has a harder time loving the same way she wants to be loved in return , she tends to be the dominate one out of the relationship , only wanting things her way because she was damaged by guys’ her age or older prior , that she gave her heart to. So the fact that she has been damaged from prior relationships, she feels the need to control and manipulate her younger partner almost like she feels like she has to do so , because of the age difference. Pretty much acting like a mother more than a lover and a partner. Most females’ not all , but most want to be with a guy she can look up to , that takes lead , that makes her feel safe and secure , that she looks up to instead of looking down to , Her younger partner can be mature and has his shit together , works hard and provides and supports and loves her as much as he possibly can , but sadly it isn’t good enough because she feels she is the one taking the lead in the relationship. So the fact that he is younger than her , can make her feel that she needs a man that can do more for her. And that’s’ where shit starts hitting the fan , especially if he is a masculine guy that wants a submissive girl , My ex was 4 years older than me and her and I were together for a long time not the greatest relationship but somehow some way we managed to work things out and choose each other , I was looking for Love and she was looking for a provider and someone that could rock her world in bed lol I gave her all those things plus , we made 3 children together , but unfortunately my ex got to a point that nothing I did for her was ever good enough , when all I did was do everything I could to prove that I loved her and our family and stayed loyal and faithful to her and worked my ass of to make her feel safe and secure But no matter what , she would start to find little flaws in me and started comparing me to older men her age or older , making me feel like I wasn’t a good man. My ex became very selfish and self centered when our kids’ got older , to the point she wasn’t a girl I knew anymore , she turned into a rude, disrespectful bitch that only cared about herself , to the point I felt used and felt like I was just a convenience for her , the intimacy and affection started fading because she was barely ever in the mood , I was lucky if she threw me a bone every now and again. Eventually We no longer saw eye to eye on things and we started butting heads like no tomorrow , to the point I had to throw in the towel and walk away from her , because she started doing things that I would never do to her and after numerous times expressing my feelings of concern to her , she completely ignored anything I had to say and turned everything into an argument , when all I was trying to do was to let her know my feelings , but my feelings didn’t matter to her anymore , I was nothing but a convenience to her. When I separated from her , that’s when she realized she was being selfish and realized she no other guy wanted her selfish ass , so she started begging for me back and I told her No , not going to happen , I eventually met a younger girl that treated me like a Gold that looked up to me and respected me and praised me for everything I accomplished in life , Intimacy and affection wasn’t even an issue between us , I didn’t have to say anything and she was on her knees for me. At that moment I realized I should of just dated younger girls’ for relationships, unfortunately that younger girl was lying to me about being married so that relationship didn’t last when I found out the truth , but if she wasn’t lying to me and was single , I would still be with her today. I am currently searching for a younger girl because younger girls’ want a man she can look up to. And again , I am only basing this off of my own personal experiences. I will have sex with an older woman but I will no longer get into a relationship with one

Older women are harder to deal with. They have likely been in and out of numerous relationships, which means they are already on the look out for every single thing they don't like. They have also had sex with many men, which means they have more to compare their new partner too. The numerous experiences can inhibit that woman's ability to pair bond with someone, especially when that man is younger than her. Women, overwhelmingly, prefer older men, for a variety of reasons, but a big reason is experience. It's difficult when the woman is the one that has a lot more experience.

It may take a very masculine, dominant man, to enable you to step back into your feminine and submit to him. Allow him to be the leader, problem solver, provider and protector, etc. However, it is entirely up to you to make that effort and to convince him that despite all your experience, all your baggage, you are still worth it. Don't be a doormat, but if you respect him, and you trust him, submit and let him lead.

If you flip to masculine and motherly that says more about your unhealed trauma. Younger guys just cause those issues you have to manifest. Taking on a parental roll in a relationship is common for people who were forced to act parental young or they were over parented. You're masculine side comes out when your needs aren't met so you have to meet your own needs.
