55-ayear-old needs good advice on dating again?

a guy I knew in high school asked a mutual friend for my number. he texted me about a week later and we talked on the phone a couple times. Got together that weekend and watched a movie. The following week I didn’t hear from him so I texted him and The following night we went out of town together and all was great, I haven’t heard from him all week so I texted him hi, how are you doing, he read the text, but didn’t respond. What now? I’m totally confused and don’t know what to think. Don’t want to be pushy but I am interested.

The beauty of being your age is that you can be blunt, forward, and unapologetic and if someone wonders why that is you can say that you know what you want and have no problem making it clear and simple


No one will accuse you of being naive or immature


So just speak plainly and let this guy know what you want, don’t want, expect, and hope he won’t do.

He went out with u n seemed interested, but not responding for a week shows inconsistency..

U could send one casual message to check in, but don’t overdo it..

If he keeps being distant, it’s better to focus on someone who values your time and interest..

U deserve someone who communicates consistently.. 🤗
