No, dude. Common. I'm not trying to shit on you for being lonely. But fictional characters do not count. That is not in any way, the same thing as an actual person. A relationship with a fictional character is necessarily one-way... and that is nothing like a relationship with a person with feelings, who talks back.

On the one hand, this is one of the saddest things I've ever heard. On the other hand... it's disturbing to be honest. The idea that anybody could think of a fictional character as an actual girlfriend... is unsettling. It's just so wrong. It just shows that you have a serious misunderstanding about what a relationship is. What it feel like, or looks like.

You cannot have a relationship with someone unaware of it (say... a celebrity). The idea that a non-existent, fictional character could be in a relationship with you... is taking that concept even further afield from reality. It's messed up that you consider fictional characters to have been relationships.

No, you're not hurting anyone. It's just sad, because it is not the same. At all. Thinking its the same is only a problem insofar as it doesn't allow you to experience any of the good parts of a real-life girlfriend. There is no affection coming your way. That makes a difference. I wasn't looking to make an enemy. I was trying to urge you to try an actual, real girl... because it's a completely different thing. Be pissed off if you want to. That's up to you.
