1.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. Hate about being a man?
- Pretty much forced into having a vasectomy
- Women being scared if I'm walking behind particularly ay night.
- Suspect of starting a conversation with a child ( despite being molested by a female when I was a child )
- Getting slapped hard by a female and being unable to hit back.
- Getting kicked in the balls.
- Baldness , although at least it can be shaved , grey is far worse , looks older.
- Men are completely screwed over in marriage separations / children , its absolutely shameful. My advice to any man is ( sadly ) never marry down financially.
- When I was divorced ( many years ago ) I went basically nowhere without my children ( 50/50 ) custody , often people would ask if I had punched / attacked my ex. And could I not leave the children at home? ( No )
- Men are overall victimised particularly in a backward Australian system , much more equal in Japan for example.
- Spousal abuse is virtually always automatically assumed.

m 1 yI can't think of anything I'd hate.
There is some mild unpleasantness to care for in dating, like being by default perceived as a threat (with reasons), so there's that to debunk somehow at each new relationship. There can be bros going for you expecting de facto solidarity because you have facial hair, usually giving me some cringe moment to experience. Oh and loosing hair for no significant reason, yep, that's annoying too.

1 yI can’t really think of anything that I hate about being a man. The grass is always greener on the other side though.
10 ReplyBeing a man, I hate some males being stronger than me, faster than me, more intelligent than me etc. But I am what I am, and I try my best to compete against everyone in life, and make the most of my circumstances.
I think everyone male and female should accept themselves for what they are, and not complain to society, to make allowances for their failings, or become a nuisance to society.

1 yYour equipment gets in the way when you're running and can get kind of annoying when you're sweating like crazy in the summer.
I know busty women have those same complaints. Apparently the chesticles get all sweaty and soupy in the Summer.

Baldness - WTF? Out of all the possible secondary sex characteristic signals for women that we're past our prime going gray wasn't enough? SERIOUSLY!!! Mother Nature has an EXQUISITE sense of humor...32 Reply- 1 y

1 y-The current trend of men damn near being just short of the devil..
-Porn making men far too hypersexual and lustful..
-Society has never really cared much for the well being of anyone but especially men..
-Having to fight being a simp because we can sometimes get into the habit of putting women on a pedestal..

Oops that was meant for the other question…
To answer this one:
There’s plenty of downside about being a man.
Every test is harder:
Finding a place to live. Finding work. Getting into school. Getting a bank loan. Getting any kind of gift or handout is out of the question.
So many privileges that women take for granted actually work against men on a daily basis
I also played basketball and was good but the competition was so stiff that I eventually didn’t make it to the majors
I knew a few girls who weren’t close to my level but eventually played in the women leagues anyway because the competition is a lot easier
This is another form of downside about being a man
And I still wouldn’t change a thing if I had the choice - 1 y
I can understand how harder it is for men. I have always been of the opinion that men do have it harder and I think extremisms of thought from the opposite gender and society overall have made it a whole lot worse.

1 yThe stress from dating. It's like going on a job interview anymore. That's if you can even get a date. There way too much expectation from men and women about each other. Everyone is mentally ill it's just some have had it formally diagnosed. 99% of people aren't rich and never will be. Living happily ever after is a myth. All marriages will have issues. Soul mates are a myth too. The Internet is destroying human decency and values. Like I said we expect too much from each other.

1 yAlways having to make the first move, especially when life has worn you down to a point where you no longer want to put in the effort, the lack of support of family and friends. Constant competition from other men,( even if you're not trying to be competitive) . Usually Always the first to be blamed for anything, total lack of people that would put in the effort to understand or get to know you
10 ReplyNo, I love being a man. Of course being a man has its own difficulties but there is no a rose garden without thorns. I want to ask you a question too. Please answer this. Is there anything you hate about being a woman?
12 Reply- 1 y
There are things that do annoy me like the expectation there is of women to marry and have kids and if you don't you're somehow labelled as unworthy of being a woman. It's not something that makes me hate being a woman but being part of the female gender has its downfalls too.

Yeah I can completely understand you because in my country (Türkiye) people's perception is same. Although Italy is a European country I guess there isn't much cultural difference between Türkiye and Italy. I guess all meditterinian countries have similar cultures. The situation may be different in west European or Scandinavian countries. In addition I think this is unfair a
person's worth shouldn't depend on his/her marital status.
1 yJust saying this My life would be easier if I was a women girl, I wish I had a vagina instead of a penis I believe I'm a women girl and a man boy in the same body. I'm a women girl trapped in a man boy body. 🩷

1 yNope, not really. As Popeye would say, I am what I am.
I'm strong to the finish 'cause I eats me spinach. I yam what I yam. I am what I am, and that's all that I am.
