I don't date or have any plans to date in the future. However, if I had to date, then being funny to a certain extend would probably be on the very top if the requirements.
But...
There is funny and funny. I do not tolerate sexual innuendo, sentences with double meanings, cursing and foul play. If there is such a thing as being funny while excluding those items, then yes, dating a funny guy would be a possible thing.
But also, being funny is not the only thing that this person has to bring to the table. There are a plethora of other, more important aspects to consider such as personality, character and intellect.
